About

Hi!  My name is Nathanial, and I am a graduate student at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.  As part of my Master of Public Service degree, I am spending the summer of 2010 working in Uganda on a microfinance project with the Nyaka AIDS Foundation.

Prior to attending the Clinton School, I studied Arabic in Cairo and interned with an NGO in Jordan.  I also spent a couple years working in the healthcare sector in Arkansas.  I graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 2006 with a degree in Biblical Studies.

As you may notice, I am taking over responsibility for this blog from Ali, my friend and Clinton School colleague who spent the summer of 2009 working with Nyaka in Uganda.  The blog she created (and I am continuing) serves to chronicle the experiences of Clinton School students who have the honor of partnering with the Nyaka AIDS Foundation in Uganda.  I am not the first student to write for this blog, and hopefully I will not be the last.

For more information about the Nyaka AIDS Foundation, visit their website at www.nyakaschool.org.
