Nyaka’s mission statement

Yesterday, I helped harvest some of the tomatoes in the school’s garden.  All of the vegetables and fruit harvested from the garden are used in Nyaka’s food and nutrition program, making it more efficient and affordable to prepare healthy meals for the students and staff.

Last Saturday, I chased the goats out of the garden twice!  The baby one got stuck inside after the big ones hopped the fence.  So, after taking this picture, I went in and managed to chase it out.  Just another Saturday afternoon at Nyaka.
